30	I saw a train that carried illumination.	من قطاری دیدم، روشنایی می‌برد.
	I saw a train that carried Islamic Jurisprudence, and how heavy it moved.	من قطاری دیدم، فقه می‌برد و چه سنگین می‌رفت.
	I saw a train that carried politics (and how empty it moved).	من قطاری دیدم که سیاست می‌برد (و چه خالی می‌رفت.)
31	I saw a train that carried seeds of morning glory and the song of canary.	من قطاری دیدم، تخم نیلوفر و آواز قناری می‌برد.
	And an airplane that at that height of thousands of feet	و هواپیمایی، که در آن اوج هزاران پایی
	Soil was visible through its glass:	خاک از شیشهٔ آن پیدا بود:
32	Crown of hoopoe,	کاکل پوپک،
	Wing-spots of butterfly,	خال‌های پر پروانه،
	Reflection of a frog in the pond	عکس غوکی در حوض
	And the passing of fly through the alley of loneliness.	و عبور مگس از کوچهٔ تنهایی.
33	The lucid beseech of a sparrow when it descends to land from a sycamore.	خواهش روشن یک گنجشک، وقتی از روی چناری به زمین می‌آید.
	And the puberty of the sun.	و بلوغ خورشید.
	And the beautiful love-making of a doll with the morning.	و هم‌آغوشی زیبای عروسک با صبح.

34	Stairs that led to the greenhouse of lust.	پله‌هایی که به گلخانهٔ شهوت می‌رفت.
	Stairs that led to the chill-cellar of alcohol.	پله‌هایی که به سردابهٔ الکل می‌رفت.
	Stairs to the canon of corruption of the rose	پله‌هایی که به قانون فساد گل سرخ
	And to the mathematical comprehension of life	و به ادراک ریاضی حیات،
35	Stairs to the roof of illuminism,	پله‌هایی که به بام اشراق،
	Stairs that led to the stage of emanation.	پله‌هایی که به سکوی تجلی می‌رفت.

36	My mother down there	مادرم آن پایین
	Was washing the teacups in the memory of the stream	استکان‌ها را در خاطرهٔ شط می‌شست.

37	The city was visible:	شهر پیدا بود:
	Geometric growth of cement, iron, rock.	رویش هندسی سیمان٬ آهن٬ سنگ.
	The pigeon-less roof of hundreds of buses.	سقف بی‌کفتر صدها اتوبوس.
	A florist had put his flowers on sale	گل‌فروشی گل‌هایش را می‌کرد حراج.

38	Between two jasmine trees, a poet rigged a swing.	در میان دو درخت گل یاس شاعری تابی می‌بست.
	A boy was throwing rocks at the wall of the elementary school.	‌پسری سنگ به دیوار دبستان می‌زد.
	A child was spitting apricot stones on his father’s colorless prayer-mat.	کودکی هستهٔ زردآلو را، روی سجادهٔ بیرنگ پدر تف می‌کرد.
	And a goat was drinking out of the Caspian of the geography map.	و بزی از «خزر» نقشهٔ جغرافی، آب می‌خورد.

39	A laundry rope was visible, a restless bra.	بند رختی پیدا بود: سینه‌بندی بی‌تاب.

40	The wheel of a cart yearning for the horse to stagnate,	چرخ یک گاری در حسرت واماندن اسب،
	The horse yearning for the cart-man to sleep,	اسب در حسرت خوابیدن گاری‌چی،
	The cart-man yearning for death	مرد گاری‌چی در حسرت مرگ.
