Aksar-e mardom mo’taqed-and ke gorbe-sān-hā miyāne-ye khubi
bā āb nadārand. |
اکثر مردم معتقدند که گربه‌سان‌ها میانهٔ خوبی
با آب ندارند. |
|
Most people believe that felines don't get along well (have a
good relation) with water. |
|
Ammā babr-hā yaqinan az in qā’ede mostasnā hastand. |
امّا ببرها یقیناً از این قاعده مستثنی هستند. |
|
However, tigers are certainly an exception to this rule. |
|
Ānhā bā khorsandi-ye tamām moddat-hā-ye madidi dar rudkhāne-hā
barā-ye dur kardan-e garmā az badan-eshān be sar mibarand. |
آنها با خرسندی تمام مدّتهای مدیدی در
رودخانه‌ها برای دور کردن گرما از بدنشان به سر می‌برند... |

They, with utter pleasure, spend extended periods of time in
rivers in order to cool off (distance heat from their bodies,
more typical: barāye rehā'i az garmā, farār az garmā)... |

...Ammā dar in mohit hich niyāzi be khonak kardan-e badan nist. |
...امّا در این محیط هیچ نیازی به خنک کردن
بدن نیست. |

But in THIS environment, there is no need for cooling off
the body. |

Dar vāqe’ daqiqan bar aks ast. |
در واقع دقیقاً بر عکس است. |

In reality, it is exactly the opposite. |

Injā hanuz ham keshvar-e babr-hā-st. |

Jangal-hā-ye pushide az barf-e chin o rusiye zistgāh-e babri
hastand be nām-e babr-e siberi ke khaz-e zakhimash zāheri
doroshtar va chāhārshāne-tari be ān bakhshide ast. |
جنگل‌های پوشیده از برف چین و روسیه زیستگاه
ببری هستند به نام ببر سیبری که خز زخیمش ظاهری درشت‌تر و
چاهارشانه‌تری به آن بخشیده است. |

The snow-covered forests of China and Russia are the
habitats of the tiger by the name of Siberian Tiger whose
thick fur (that its thick fur) has given to it a larger and
sturdier appearance. |

Babr dar sarāsar-e qalamraw-ash dar khatar ast. |
ببر در سراسر قلمرواش در خطر است. |

The tiger is in danger throught his whole dominion. |
|
Hattā dar in manāteq-e duroftāde. |
حتّی در این مناطق دوراُفتاده. |

Even in these remote regions. |

ānhā hanuz ham be tawr-e ghayr-e qānuni shekār mishavand. |

Na tanhā barā-ye pusteshān balke barā-ye ghusht, khun va
ostokhān-hāyeshān ke dar bāzār-hā-ye siyāh-e khāvar-e dur
