1 Today is the first day of Persian 507 class.  Right now, I'm at the intersection of twenty-first street and Guadelupe. امروز روز اوّل کلاس فارسیِ ۵۰۷ هست.  من الآن تقاطع خیابون بیست و یکّم و گوادالوپ هستم. 
2 I set out in the direction of the north.  What a nice spring morning! به سمت شمال به راه می‌افتم.  چه صبح بهاریِ خوبی!
3 I set out to the north.  I'm walking on foot.  Oh how I wish I'd also brought my bicycle. به سمت شمال به راه می‌افتم.  دارم پیاده می‌رم.  کاشکی دوچرخه هم رو آورده بودم.
4 Here I go to the right...I have to turn my way a little bit, again to the right. اینجا به سمت راست ...  می‌رم ... یه ذرّه باید کج کنم راهمو، دوباره به سمت راست.
5 I think my class, uh, must be Parlin Building.  Let me go and see if it's here. فکر کنم کلاسم، اِ ... پارلین بیلدینگ باشه.  برم ببینم که اینجاست.
6 No, it seems they've put a note that class is not going to be held here.  So probably it must be Biological Laboratory. نه، مث اینکه یاداشت گذاشتن که کلاس اینجا برگزار نمیشه.  پس احتمالاً باید بایالاجیکال لبرتوری باشه.
7 I turn around and set out in the direction of the UT tower. برمی‌گردم به سمتِ برج یو تی، به راه می‌افتم.
8 I pass along the side of the tower across from the library از کنار برج می‌گذرم، از روبروی کتابخونه
9 I continue my way in the direction of Biological Laboratory Building به راهم ادامه می‌دم به سمت بایالاجیکال لبرتوری بیلدینگ
10 Here's there's a nice pond full of turtles.  I take a shortcut and enter the building.  My class should be here. اینجا یه استخر بامزه است پر از لاک‌پشت.  میونبر می‌زنم و وارد ساختمون می‌شم.  کلاسم باید اینجا باشه.
11 Again they've left a note, our class isn't here. دوباره یاداشت گذاشتند کلسم اینجا نیست.
12 So, umm, there's only one more building and that's Experimental Science Building.  The third and last building that I have to check. پس اه‌ه‌ه‌ یه ساختمون بیشتر نمونده، اونم اِکسپریمنتال ساینس بیلدینگ.  ساختمون سوّم و آخرین ساختمونیِه که باید چک کنم.
13 I cross twenty-fourth street, to the right, towards ESB or Experimental Science Building.  My class should definitely be here. از خیابون بیست و چهار عبور می‌کنم دست راست، به سمت ای. اس. بی. یا اکسپریمنتال ساینس بیلدینگ.  حتماً کلاسم باید اینجا باشه.
14 It's the first day of class, I hope I have a good semester ahead.  Yep!  This is it!! روز اوّل کلاسمه، امیدوارم ترم خوبی رو در پیش داشته باشم. بله، اینجا خودشه!
