سلام، به وب‌سایت فارسی در دانشگاهِ تگزاس خوش‌آمدین. اِ اِ اِ

I'm Mehdi Torabian, Persian T.A. the past year, I came to
the University of Texas
from Iran as an F.L.T.A. |
من مهدی تُرابیان هستم، پرژن تی اَیْ توی سال گذشته که به
عنوان اِف اِل تی اَیْ از ایران
اومدم به دانشگاه تگزاس. |
Umm. Last year, I had to do a lot of things with the first
year Persian kids who were
really nice and talented. |
اِ اِ اِم. توی سال گذشته من باید با بچه‌های فارسی سال اوّل
کار می‌کردم که بچه‌های خیلی
با محبت و با استعدادی بودن. |
Umm, these kids, when they began the course, many of them
didn't even know one
word of Persian but well, umm, now that the term has ended,
they can read and
write Persian very well and well to a certain extent speak
it. |
اِم این بچه‌ها وقتی که کلاس رو شروع کردن خیلی‌هاشون حتی یک
کلمه فارسی هم بلد
نبودن ولی خوب اِم الان که ترم تموم شده خیلی خوب می‌تونن
فارسی رو بخونن و بنویسن و
خوب تا اندازه‌ای حرف بزنن. |
In this class, we had to do a lot of things for example,
teach books and watch films,
compositions, dictations and conversation practice. |
ما توی این کلاس باید کارهای خیلی زیادی انجام می‌دادیم مثل
تدریس کتاب و تماشای فیلم،
انشاء، دیکته، و تمرین گفتگو. |
This room that you see behind my head, umm, is the language
lab, every week here
I used to do conversation practice with many of these kids,
anyhow, we had to do a
lot of things but well, it was also not devoid...devoid of
pleasure. |
این اتاقی که پشت سر من می‌بینین اِم آزمایشگاه زبانه، من هر
هفته اینجا با خیلی از این
بچه‌ها تمرین گفتگو می‌کردم، خوب کارهای زیادی باید انجام می‌شد
ولی خوب خالی ...
خالی از لطف هم نبود. |
Many times when I would correct their papers, I used to see
many charming (lit:
"salty") things in these papers that really were funny. |
من خیلی وقت‌ها برگه‌هاشون رو که تصحیح می‌کردم خیلی چیزهای با
نمک توی این برگه‌ها
می‌دیدم که خیلی واقعاً خنده‌دار بود. |

It was very interesting f-f-for me. |
خیلی جالب بود وا... واسهٔ من. |
Umm and now that of course when you are watching this film I
will no longer be
here, there won't be any trace of me at the University of
Texas. |
اَم و الان که البته دارین این فیلم رو نگاه می‌کنین من دیگه
اینجا نیستم، اثری از من تو
دانشگاه تگزاس نیست. |
I will have returned to Iran, returned to our family and all
together last year was very
nice. |
من دیگه برگشتم ایران، برگشتم خونه‌مون و در کل سال گذشته خیلی
سال خوبی بود. |
I hope that the TAs who come after me to this university
will have such a good
experience. |
امیدوارم که تی ای‌هایی که بعد از من میان این دانشگاه یک
همچنین تجربهٔ خیلی خوبی رو
داشته باشن. |
