The managing director of Nik Kālā in
reaction to the death of the prime minister of Georgia due
to a heater by Nik Kālā, in conversation with Sharq.

Today right as the funerary ceremonies of the
prime minister of Georgia are being held, amidst all this,
an economic discussion also has also aroused attention to
itself. After the body of the prime minister of
Georgia along with the lifeless body of his friend in that
friend's house was found, the first conjectures related
his death as caused by poisoning. However, a little
later, it was announced that suffocation due to leakage (nasht)
of gas was (has been) the cause of it. What caused us to deal
with this on this page is the rest of the story:

امروز در حالی مراسم تشییع جنازه نخست وزیر گرجستان برگزار می‌شود،
که یک بحث اقتصادی نیز در این میان توجهات را به خود برانگیخته
است. پس از آنکه جنازه نخست وزیر گرجستان به همراه جنازه بی‌جان دوستش در خانه آن دوست پیدا شد، حدس‌های اولیه حکایت از
مرگ وی بر اثر مسمومیت داشت. اما اندکی بعد اعلام شد که خفگی
بر اثر نشت گاز عامل آن بوده است. آنچه باعث شد ما در این صفحه
به این موضوع بپردازیم بقیه قضیه است: |

The gas leak was from an
Iranian gas heater, for that matter with the name of Nik Kālā (good
goods) [which was] the cause of the incident. |
نشت گاز از یک بخاری
گاز ایرانی آن هم با نام نیک کالا عامل ماجرا بوده است. |

Of course, the news agency Prime News of Georgia which
was the source of the announcement of the above-mentioned
news item, explained that the problem has been the sort of
installation of the heater. This heater which only a
few days had passed since its installation, had been lacking
(fāqed) an exhuast pipe, therefore, evidently, death has
been by accumulation (tarākom) of suffocating gasses due to
(nāshi az) burning of gases, especially Monooxide carbon and
absence of transferring them outside.

البته
خبرگزاری پرایم نیوز گرجستان که منبع اعلام خبر مذکور است
تصریح کرده که اشکال از نوع نصب بخاری بوده است. این بخاری که
تنها چند روز از نصب آن می‌گذشته فاقد لوله دودکش بوده است،
لذا ظاهراً مرگ بر اثر تراکم گازهای خفه کننده ناشی از سوخت
گاز به خصوص مونواکسید کربن و عدم انتقال آنها به خارج بوده
است. |

This way, not only in place of a gas transmission pipe an
ordinary garden hose had been used to [connect] to the
heater, but also a proper system of ventilation was not present in the
house. After Sayyed Mohammad Khātami, president
of our country, in the course of a message
of sympathy addressed to Mikhail Saakashvili, president of Georgia, offered condolences (tasliyat goft)
we thought of going to find the managing director of the
company Nik Kālā in the city region of Karaj and inquire
about the case from him too. |
همچنین نه تنها به جای لوله انتقال گاز به بخاری از شلنگ
معمولی آب استفاده شده، بلکه سیستم تهویه مناسبی نیز در خانه
وجود نداشته است. پس از آنکه سید محمد خاتمی رئیس جمهور کشورمان،
طی پیام تسلیتی خطاب به میخائیل ساآکاشویلی رئیس جمهور گرجستان،
این حادثه را تسلیت گفت ما به فکر افتادیم تا به سراغ مدیر عامل
شرکت نیک کالا در شهرستان کرج برویم و قضیه را از وی هم جویا
شویم. |

At first he said that concerning the case of the death of
Zurab Zhvania, prime minister of Georgia, one must
corroborate with the Embassy of Georgia in Tehran. He
added that after these agreements (ham-āhangihā), the
opinion of the company in this matter will be issued (montasher)
officially and in the form of an official
statement. Mr. Solaymāni who around mid-afternoon and perhaps during his naptime, replied to Sharq
despite his initial statements, expressed explanations in this
regard. During this telephone conversation he two or
three times emphasized: "Not only Georgians but rather
most of the residents of Soviet (shuravi) republics which
have become independent (esteqlāl yāfte) do not have the
culture (farhang) of using gas heaters."

وی ابتداء گفت که در مورد قضیه مرگ زوراب ژوانیا نخست وزیر
گرجستان، ابتداء باید هماهنگی‌هایی را با سفارت گرجستان در
تهران انجام دهد. او افزود که پس از این هماهنگی نظر شرکت در
این مورد به صورت رسمی و در قالب بیانیه‌ای رسمی منتشر خواهد
شد. آقای سلیمانی که در نیمه‌های بعدازظهر و شاید در وقت
استراحت خویش به شرق پاسخ می‌گفت به رغم اظهار
نظر اولیه خود
توضیحاتی را در این مورد اظهار داشت. وی دو یا سه بار در طول
مکالمه کوتاه تلفنی تأکید کرد: «نه تنها گرجی‌ها بلکه اغلب
ساکنان جمهوری‌های استقلال یافته شوروی فرهنگ استفاده از بخاری
گازی را ندارند.» |

He, in a statement added the explanation of this matter:
"In the course of extended years of the lifetime of the
(country of the) Soviet Union, the heating system in all Soviet
areas
(points, noqāt), and including Georgia was based (mobtani)
on very big (besiyār bozorg) central heating systems.
200 to 300 apartments would be warmed by a big engine room outside the building.
At the present time and during the years
after the Soviet collapse (forupāshi), this matter changed
and now many republics which have gotten independence use
gas heaters, but they don't know the correct way of using
them." Despite all these things, one newspaper published in
Tiblisi by the name of "Ākhāli Tāubā" (new
generation, nasl-e jadid) on Friday wrote in
this regard: |
وی در بیان دلیل این امر افزود: «طی سالیان متمادی عمر کشور
شوروی سیستم گرمایش در تمام نقاط شوروی و از جمله گرجستان
مبتنی بر سیستم‌های حرارت مرکزی بسیار بزرگ بود. ۲۰۰ یا ۳۰۰
آپارتمان با یک موتورخانه بزرگ و خارج از ساختمان گرم می‌شد.
حالا و طی سال‌های پس از فروپاشی شوروی این امر تغییر کرده و
اکنون بسیاری از جمهوری‌های استقلال یافته از بخاری‌های گازی
استفاده می‌کنند، اما طرز استفاده صحیح از آنها را بلد نیستند.»
با تمامی اینها یک روزنامه چاپ تفلیس به نام «آخالی تائوبا»
روز جمعه در این مورد نوشته است: |

"It's a source of shame that Zurab Zhvania, the prime
minister should die (fawt konad, expire, breathe last
breath) due to (be khātar-e) suffocation from non-standard
fitting of a gas-burning heater of Nik Kālā."
Solaymāni, the managing director of Nik Kālā, in a
conversation with Sharq considered every form of
responsibility [to be]directed at the Georgians themselves
and and did not consider [there to be] any accusation
(ettehām) incumbant upon his company.

«مایه شرمساری است که زوراب
ژوانیا نخست وزیر به خاطر خفگی از نصب غیر استاندارد بخاری
گازسوز نیک کالای ایرانی فوت کند.» سلیمانی مدیر عامل نیک کالا،
در گفتوگو با شرق هرگونه مسئولیتی را متوجه خود گرجی‌ها
دانسته و هیچ اتهامی را به شرکت خود وارد نمی‌داند:

"The ambassador of Georgia in Tehran himself personally
(shakhsan) visited our company (literarlly: has visited)
Representatives of the Office of Standards of Georgia also
came to the factory and gave (have given) evidence (gavāhi
or govāhi) of assurance of quality. Besides (tāze) we
don't have exports only to Georgia. |
«سفیر گرجستان در ایران خودشان شخصاً در گذشته کارخانه ما
را بازدید کرده اند. نمایندگان اداره استاندارد گرجستان هم به
کارخانه آمده و گواهی تائید کیفیت به ما داده‌اند. تازه ما
تنها به گرجستان صادرات نداریم. |

Around 7 or 8
countries out of the former (sābeq) Soviet republics are
parts /parties (joz') of our customers and and by way
of smaller local markets we also sell heaters to the
countries around us." He added (was adding, miafzāyed)
that the original responsibility was on the officials (maqāmāt)
of Georgia and Russia themsevles: "We have printed
brochures for these heaters in Russian and Armenian and we
have explained the correct way to use them. |
حدود ۷ تا ۸ کشور از جمهوری‌های
شوروی سابق جزء مشتریان ما هستند و از طریق بازارچه‌های محلی
هم به کشورهای اطراف خودمان بخاری می‌فروشیم.» او می‌افزاید که
مسئولیت اصلی برعهده خود مقامات گرجستان و روسیه است: «ما به
زبان‌های روسی و ارمنی برای این بخاری‌ها بروشور چاپ کرده‌ایم
و طرز صحیح استفاده از آنها را شرح داده‌ایم. |

Even in
these brochures we have emphasized that they should only
take the initiative to install the heaters by way of our own
representatives in these countries and our repair staff so
that the job take place (surat girad) in the correct
manner." |
حتی در این
بروشورها تأکید کرده‌ایم که فقط از طریق نمایندگی‌های خودمان
در این کشورها و سرویس کاران ما اقدام به نصب بخاری‌ها کنند تا
کار به طرز صحیحی صورت گیرد.» |

The managing director of Nik Kālā added [that]this is not
the first time that such a death has occurred in Georgia.
According to the claim of the managine director of Nik Kālā,
this is the first time that death dur to gas leak from a
heater from this company has been reproted in Georgia and
before this there's been no example (nemune_of it. |
مدیر عامل نیک کالا می‌افزاید این
اولین بار نیست که در گرجستان چنین مرگ‌هایی اتفاق می‌افتد. به
ادعای مدیر عامل نیک کالا این اولین باری است که مرگ بر اثر نشت
گاز از بخاری‌های این شرکت در گرجستان گزارش شده و پیش از این
نمونه آن وجود نداشته است.

If such a
thing should be true, Nik Kālā really has gotten a bad
reputation that the first death due to its heaters happened
just in the case of the prime minister of this country.
Solaymāni considers the factor/agent of such an incident in
the first place to be two things: Not having the
culture and not having money. |
اگر چنین چیزی درست باشد نیک کالا
واقعاً بدشانس بوده که اولین مرگ ناشی از بخاری‌های آن درست در
مورد نخست وزیر این کشور اتفاق افتاده است. سلیمانی عامل چنین
اتفاقی را در درجه نخست دو چیز می‌داند: نداشتن فرهنگ و نداشتن
پول. |

He says:
"They have neither the culture of using
these goods nor the budget (of it)." According to his
belief, it is the duty of those in charge (the
responsibles mas'ulin) of these republics that they give
announcements. The managing director of Nik Kālā at
the end of his conversation with us in this way said: |
او می‌گوید:
«آنها نه فرهنگ استفاده از این کالاها را
دارند و نه بودجه‌اش را.» به اعتقاد وی وظیفه مسئولین این
جمهوری‌هاست که آگاهی بدهند. مدیرعامل نیک کالا در انتهای صحبت
خود با ما چنین می‌گوید:

"The
fortunate thing in it is that heater(s) of Nik Kālā have
gone to Georgia and even Moscow and this is the first
incident during (zarf-e) ten years of our presence there.
One must note that this is an ordinary event and the likes
of it could happen, it is possible in the case of an Iranian
family in Iran too. You see every day news of it in
the case of our own Iran too in the newspapers." |
«حسن قضیه آن است که بخاری نیک کالا تا
گرجستان و مسکو هم رفته و این اولین اتفاق ظرف ده سال حضور ما
در آنجاست. باید توجه داشته باشید که این اتفاقی معمولی است و
نمونه آن در مورد یک خانواده ایرانی در ایران هم ممکن است
اتفاق بیفتد. اخبار آن در مورد ایران خودمان را هم شما هر روز
در روزنامه‌ها می‌بینید.»

It is
said that during the past four years, 80 cases of death due
to gas leak have been reported in Georgia. At the
present time, Saakashvili, that is, the president of Georgia
has temporarily (be surat-e movaqqat) assumed the post of
the deceased prime minister and is performing his duties. |
گفته می‌شود طی چهار سال گذشته ۸۰
مورد مرگ بر اثر نشت گاز در گرجستان گزارش داده شده است. در
حال حاضر ساآکاشویلی یعنی رئیس جمهور گرجستان به صورت موقت پست
نخست وزیر متوفی را برعهده گرفته و وظایف وی را انجام می‌دهد. |
