To visit me, in case you come, |
به سراغ من اگر می‌آیید |
|
|
I’m behind Nothingville, |
پشت هیچستانم
|
|
|
Behind Nothingville is a
place. |
پشت هیچستان جایی است
|
|
|
Behind Nothingville,
veins of air are filled
with dandelions |
پشت هیچستان رگ‌های هوا پر قاصدهایی
است |
|
|
That bring tidings of the
blossomed
flower of the most distant bush of Earth. |
که خبر می‌آرند از گل وا شدهٔ دورترین
بوتهٔ خاک
|

On sands too,
are hoof-prints of horses
of the delicate riders who in the morning |
روی شن‌ها هم نقش‌های سُم اسبان سواران ظریفی است که صبح |
|
|
Went to the hilltop
of the ascension
of the poppy. |
به سر تپهٔ معراج شقایق رفتند |
|
|

Behind Nothingville, the
umbrella of desire is open: |
پشت هیچستان چتر خواهش باز است |

As soon as the breeze of a thirst runs
through the base of a Leaf |
تا نسیم عطشی در بُنِ برگی بدود |
|
|
Bells of rain begin to toll. |
زنگ باران به صدا می‌آید |
|
|
|
|

Man is lonely here |
آدم اینجا تنهاست |
|
|
And in this loneliness,
the shade of an elm
flows through to eternity. |
و در این تنهایی سایهٔ نارونی تا ابدیّت جاری است |

To visit me,
in case you come, |
به سراغ من اگر می‌آیید |

|
Come softly and
slowly,
lest crack |
نرم و آهسته بیایید مبادا که ترک بردارد |
|

The
delicate porcelain of my loneliness. |
چینی نازک تنهایی من |
