To the city came that woman from
Angās |
سوی شهر آمد آن زن انگاس |

Up and went on a touring spree left and right |
سیر کردن گرفت از چپ و راست |

She saw a mirror fallen on the ground |
دید آئینهای فتاده به خاک |

Said: “Indeed, this is a unique jewel.” |
گفت: «حقا که گوهری یکتاست» |

To watch, as she picked it up and saw |
به تماشا چو برگرفت و بدید |

Her own reflection, she dropped it and apologized |
عکس خود را فکند و پوزش خواست |

That: “Excuse me sister, I swear to God |
که «ببخشید خواهرم بخدا |

I did not realize this jewel is yours.” |
