0 Angāsi انگاسی
1 To the city came that woman from Angās سوی شهر آمد آن زن انگاس
2 Up and went on a touring spree left and right سیر کردن گرفت از چپ و راست
3 She saw a mirror fallen on the ground دید آئینه‌ای فتاده به خاک
4 Said: “Indeed, this is a unique jewel.” گفت: «حقا که گوهری یکتاست»
5 To watch, as she picked it up and saw به تماشا چو برگرفت و بدید
6 Her own reflection, she dropped it and apologized عکس خود را فکند و پوزش خواست
7 That: “Excuse me sister, I swear to God که «ببخشید خواهرم بخدا
8 I did not realize this jewel is yours.” من ندانستم این گهر ز شماست»
   
9 We are that same village woman, exactly ما همان روستا زنیم درست
10 Credulous, simple-minded, without anything amiss ساده‌بین ساده‌فهم بی‌کم و کاست
11 To whom in the mirror of the world, که در آئینهٔ جهان بر ما
12 The most unknown of all is our own selves. از همه ناشناس‌تر خود ماست
