Question Tag: Āyā - Audio - Drag & Drop Answer to question - Spoken Set 3

Set: 1 Drag & Drop Spoken    2: Drag & Drop Written  3:  Translation Spoken  4:  Translation Written

Directions: While āya can appear in the middle of a sentence for other meanings, when āyā appears at the beginning of a sentence, it is usually there to let you know that this is a yes-no question. Āyā usually is not used in spoken style Persian which prefers devices such as intonation, stress, negative questions, etc in place of āyā. In this exercise, click on the audio button to listen and then write down what you hear and then translate to English. This set is in spoken style so you won't hear the word āyā. (Written style is coming up again in the next set!). Click on Next to begin and to continue.
