The story of the Snake & Rock. As the story goes, one day, Hushang Shāh with his companions was passing through a mountainous trail and a black snake with red eyes appears in his path. He picks up a piece of rock (flint) and throws it at the snake. He misses the snake and the piece of flint hits another rock and sparks fly. As a result, the nearby dried grass, catch on fire. This event marks the discovery of fire. The important point here is snake escapes unharmed and the useful fire is discovered.
