Word Space

Most people find the width of the normal word space (like when you hit the space bar) too narrow in Persian.

Therefore it is very common to REPLACE one space with two spaces. In Word, just look up on your tool bar for Edit, then Replace and in the Find What box, type one space and in the Replace With box, type two spaces.

Naturally, you can't SEE what you're typing since, being spaces, they're  invisible but after you hit Replace All and see the result, you'll find it's much easier to read your text.

Font makers, take note of this!  Persian could use a word space twice as long as normal.

(As an aside, this is already possible as a CSS feature in making web pages, however, only the very latest browsers support this sort of custom-made word spacing.)
