Directions: In this exercise, you again are given the same set of REFLEXIVE sentences which no native speaker would utter which are again marked with an * before each sentence to show you they incorrect. The last time, you corrected each sentence by changing the pronoun to its corresponding enclitic suffix. This time, correct the sentences a different way by inserting either /khod/ by itself or /khod/ and the corresponding enclitic personal suffix. /khod/ means "self" but you see here, it has a grammatical function which you may not need to literally translate to English. Have you noticed Persian-speakers often over-use the word "self" when speaking English? Now you know one reason why. Hit Next to begin and Next to check your answer and go the next sentence. 7 sentences total. You may also hit the "Previous Set" button to try the previous method again of converting the pronoun to its corresponding enclitic suffix.
